We believe that investment managers can play a role in changing inappropriate behaviour by those executives, whose role is to grow investors’ capital.
In recent times, executives’ and directors’ behavior has resulted in permanent loss of capital for investors.
We subscribe and also encourage managers to be part of the Code for Responsible Investing in South Africa (CRISA) and managers to be a signatory to the United National Principles for Responsible Investing (UNPRI). These result in better decisions that incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into a client’s portfolio.
